Corpus Christi Lodge No. 189 has completed construction and delivery of 5 more Early Bird Reader (EBR) Bookeries (children's book depositories). The bookeries have been placed in local public libraries to collect donated children's books used in a schools' program which brings together in-school siblings reading to their pre-school siblings at home. In 2009, more than 2000 books were recycled through public donations in this manner using 6 bookeries. Constructing the bookeries were: Buddy Royall, Bob Warren, Beau Lindley, Charles Alexander, Crawford Helms and Steve Mitchell.
