Library and Museum Mission

To Advance by Precept and Example The Principles of Freemasonry – Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth!

The Library and Museum is devoted to education and preservation of history. The major collection in the Library is comprised of Masonic and Texas histories and biographies. Exhibits in the Museum include the Republic of Texas Collection, the Military and Holocaust Collection, the Railroad Collection and the Masonry in Texas Collection with the addition of miscellaneous artifacts acquired and donated by Masons.

The Masonic Grand Lodge Library and Museum of Texas, located at 715 Columbus in Waco, Texas, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Library and Museum is opened to all individuals, including those with physical challenges.

Hours of Operation

The Library is open for research between 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM weekdays. Museum tour times are 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30 AM and 1:00 and 1:30 PM. No tours are given between 11:00 and 1:00. For group tours of ten and more, please call ahead at 254-753-7395 or email gs@grandsecretaryoftx.org.
